ACTIVATION OF INTERNATIONAL MEDIATORS’ EFFORTS IS STIPULATED BY “OIL” FACTOR

YEREVAN, February 22. /Mediamax/. Leader of “National Unity” party, Armenian MP Artashes Geghamian said today that activation of the process of the Karabakh conflict settlement is stipulated by the interests of the international community in rich oil-fields of the Caspian basin, increased in the light of the world oil crisis.
Geghamian said the recent developments indicate that Russia and the US, as well as the European Union, are interested in the soonest resolution of the Karabakh issue.
