SECOND ROUND OF ELECTIONS OF THE HEAD OF THE PARLIAMENTARY FINANCE-CREDIT COMISSION WILL BE HELD ON FEBRUARY 19-21

07.02.2001, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. The second round of the elections of the head of the permanent parliamentary commission of the Armenian National Assembly for finance-credit, budget and economic issues will be held during the regular plenary session on February 19-21.
In the course of today’s voting neither of the 3 candidates to this post collected the required number of votes. Deputies Gagik Minasian, Vahram Baghdasarian and Vardan Bostanjian, all of them representing the “Unity” faction, were pretending to the post of the commission chairman.
In the second round V. Baghdasarian and G. Minasian, with 54 and 42 votes accordingly, are to compete with each other. -0-
