03.02.2001, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. Three years ago, on February 3, 1998 president of Armenia Levon Ter-Petrosian announced about its resignation.
The main reasons of the resignation were considered disagreements between Ter-Petrosian and Prime Minister Robert Kocharian concerning the ways of the Karabakh conflict resolution.
Levon Ter-Petrosian very seldom appeared in public for the past three years. He refused to give any interviews or to comment upon the political situation in the country.
According to some sources, the ex-president of Armenia is working on a book. –0–
