NEW SPOKESWOMAN OF ARMENIAN FOREIGN MINISTRY IS APPOINTED

01.02.2001, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. Mrs. Dzyunik Aghajanian is appointed the new spokeswoman and the chief of public relations department of the Foreign Ministry of Armenia, Mediamax was informed in the Foreign Ministry of Armenia.
Dzyunik Aghajanian was born in Yerevan in 1966. She graduated from the Romanic-Germanic languages faculty of the Yerevan State University in 1989 with honors. She has been working in the Armenian Foreign Ministry since 1992. In 1993-1995 she worked in the Armenian Embassy in the US, in 1998 she got her Masters degree in international relations at the Columbian University of New York.
Since 1999 and up to the new appointment Dzyunik Aghajanian was the chief of information department in the political planning department of the Foreign Ministry of Armenia.
The post of the spokesman of the Armenian Foreign Ministry remained vacant since Ara Papian was appointed Armenian Ambassador to Canada in late 2000. –0–
