On May 17, 2:00 p.m. Yerevan time, Armenian National Academy’s Botanic Garden will host an opening of an area for growing collection roses.The restoration of the area was made possible through the financial support of Swiss Embassy in Armenia, which extended Euro 6000 for the purpose, as well as the personal involvement of the Swiss Ambassador to Armenia.
In 1990, the entire collection of roses of the Botanic Garden was lost as a consequence of financial and economic crisis, Armenian National Academy press service reported.
