31.01.2001, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. Turkish Foreign Minister Ismail Cem said that the Armenian bill, signed by French President Jacques Chirac on January 30 overshadowed France’s role in mediating for a resolution of Armenian-Azerbaijan’s dispute over Nagorno-Karabakh.
According to world news agencies, Cem said that “Turkey no longer trusts France’s impartial, objective and useful mediation”. “The chances that the Azerbaijani people have a different opinion are slim,” he said.
