VivaCell-MTS announced availability of Google Nexus S smartphone in Armenia.
Google Nexus S, jointly produced by Samsung and Google, is the first smartphone in the world that comes pre-installed with the new and superfast Android 2.3 Gingerbread operation system (with possibility to update to 2.3.4). With this OS, 1 GHz processor and 16 GB internal memory, Google Nexus S is one of the fastest phones on the market.
Nexus S is the first smartphone launched with a Contour Display. The curved glass screen fits comfortably in the palm of the hand and along the side of the face. And with the innovative Near Field Communication (NFC), Nexus S can read information from "smart" tags, or everyday objects that have NFC chips in them.
This smartphone comes pre-installed with the best of Google apps, including Google Search, Google Maps, Mobile Instant, Google Earth, and much more. With Nexus S users will be the first to receive upgrades, features and new apps as they become available, and they will also have full access to all free and chargeable apps, games, and widgets on Android Market. To remind, Google has already made Android Market fully available in Armenia. Applications on Android Market can be bought using VISA, MasterCard.
The price of Google Nexus S is AMD 295000. In case of buying the phone from VivaCell-MTS service centers the customer can participate in the “Smart Bonus” program and get AMD 147500 bonus.
