STATE COMMISSION FOR CELEBRATING 1700TH ANNIVERSARY OF ADOPTION OF CHRISTIANITY IN ARMENIA IS SET UP IN NKR

26.01.2001, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. The President of Nagorno Karabakh Republic Arkady Ghukasian signed on January 24 the decree about “State commission for organizing festivities for the 1700th anniversary of adoption of Christianity as state religion in Armenia”, Mediamax was informed in the press office of the President of NKR.
The commission is to submit the festivities program, coordinated with the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, to NKR President for approval within 15 days.
In accord with the decree, NKR President Arkady Ghukasian is heading the commission, which includes ministers and chiefs of the state departments of the country. -0-
