PRESIDENT OF ARMENIA WILL MEET TODAY WB REGIONAL DIRECTOR

23.01.2001, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. Today evening the President of Armenia will receive World Bank Regional Director for Southern Caucasian states Judi O’Connor, said the press secretary of WB Yerevan office Vigen Sarkisian at a press conference in Yerevan.
Mrs. O’Connor will also meet the newly appointed mayor of Yerevan Robert Nazarian. Yesterday WB regional director held talks with the Armenian PM Andranik Margarian and the Minister of Finance and Economy of Armenia Vardan Khachatrian, press secretary said.
The main topics discussed were questions on allotting Armenia SAC-4 credit, as well as governmental programs of struggling against corruption and poverty. -0-
