TURKEY IS GOING TO SPEAK ABOUT “ARMENIAN OCCUPATION ON AZERBAIJANI TERRITORY” AT PACE SESSION

22.01.2001, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. Turkish delegation in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) is going to raise the question of “Armenian occupation on Azerbaijani territory” at regular PACE session, Turkish Zaman paper reports.
Uluc Gurkan, the head of the Turkish delegation, said in Strasbourg they are also going to “convey the realities about the so-called genocide” to the parliamentarians of PACE. “We should use all the fields effectively”, Gurkan said.
On January 25 the official ceremonial entrance of Armenia and Azerbaijan to the Council of Europe will take place in Strasbourg with the participation of the presidents of the two countries. -0-
