ARMENIAN AMBASSADOR TO LEBANON MET WITH THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE OF THE COUNTRY AND THE MAYOR OF BEIRUT

11.01.2001, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. Armenian Ambassador to Lebanon Arman Navasardian met on January 10 with the Minister of Agriculture of the country Ali Abdallah, Mediamax was informed in the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Armenia.
Questions concerning cooperation perspectives in agricultural sphere and signing of inter-state agreement on establishing a free trade zone were discussed during the meeting. The minister supported Navasardian’s proposal about opening in April an exhibition of Armenian agricultural products in Beirut.
The same day the Ambassador of Armenia met with the mayor of Beirut Abdel Menem Aris. The sides discussed issues of cooperation in various fields between the capitals. Mayor Aris forwarded an invitation to Yerevan’s mayor to pay an official visit to Beirut. -0-
