26.12.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. Russian Defense Minister Igor Sergeyev said on Monday during a brief visit to Azerbaijan’s capital Baku that Russia has never supplied arms to Armenia.
According to France Presse, the Russian minister made this announcement during his meeting with his Azeri counterpart Safar Abiyev. “The prosecutor general investigated the accusations. There were no illegal arms sales,” Marshal Sergeyev said.
