SON OF AZERBAIJAN’S PRESIDENT CALLS ON RUSSIA TO BE ACTIVE IN KARABAKH CONFLICT SETTLEMENT

25.12.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. “We expect Russia to actively participate in the Karabakh conflict settlement”, the son of Azerbaijani President Heydar Aliyev, vice-president of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said today in the interview to the Russian “Moskovsky Komsomolets” paper.
Ilham Aliyev said that “Russia has great influence on Armenia, and besides it has the possibility to put its influence into practice”. -0-
