IT’S EARLY YET TO SPEAK ABOUT COMPLETELY INDEPENDENT COURTS IN ARMENIA, ARMENIAN JUSTICE MINISTER SAID

23.12.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. “The Ministry of Justice takes consistent steps to provide independent judiciary in Armenia”, Armenian Minister of Justice David Harutyunian said in the interview to Mediamax.
But it’s early yet to speak about complete independence of courts in Armenia, the minister said. In order to achieve absolute results in this direction the material welfare of judges should be provided and traditions of independent judiciary must be established in the country, Harutyunian said. -0-
