NKR MAKES PREPARATIONS TO CELEBRATE THE 1700TH ANNIVERSARY OF ADOPTION OF CHRISTIANITY BY ARMENIA

15.12.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. Historical and religious monuments of Nagorno Karabakh Republic are included in the main routes, chosen by the state commission of Armenia for organizing festivities to celebrate the 1700th anniversary of the adoption of Christianity by Armenia.
As Mediamax was informed in the Ministry of Culture of NKR, the following tourist routes have been chosen: the monastery of Gandzasar (13th cent.), the town of Shushi, monuments in the surroundings of NKR’s capital Stepanakert. Within the framework of festivities competitions-festivals of religious music will be held in Karabakh.
Sponsored by the international “Amadeus” (Belgium) organization, a competition of religious music and dance will be held in Stepanakert. -0-
