07.12.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. The delegates from Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, led by the chief of the Central Electoral Committee of NKR Sergey Davidian, left for Tiraspol today to follow as observers the upcoming December 10 parliamentary elections in unrecognized Moldavian Trans-Dniestrian Republic.
During the visit the delegates will not only visit the polling districts, but also share their experience in holding elections with their colleagues and study the laws of Trans-Dniestria, Sergey Davidian told Mediamax.
The agreement on the participation of NKR delegates as observers in Trans-Dniestrian parliamentary elections was achieved after elections of the National Assembly of Nagorno Karabakh Republic, held on June 18, 2000, at which Trans-Dniestrian representatives were invited. -0-
