AZERBAIJAN WILL NEVER ACCEPT TERRITORIAL SWAP

04.12.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. “I don’t exclude that in the course of the negotiations between Armenian and Azerbaijani presidents the idea of territorial swap could have appeared as a variant of the conflict settlement”, Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Vilayat Guliyev said in the interview to Mediamax.
But, as Guliyev stressed, Azerbaijan has never taken this seriously.
“We are not going to agree on territorial swap, and this is out of question in Azerbaijan, as well as in Armenia, I think”, Azeri Foreign Minister said. -0-
