THE HEAD OF “UNITY” PARLIAMENTARY FACTION IS ELECTED

28.11.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. The deputy of the National Assembly of Armenia Galust Sahakian is elected the head of the “Unity” faction, having the majority in the Armenian parliament.
Sahakian is the deputy chairman of the National Assembly commission for scientific, educational, cultural and youth issues.
The position of the head of the “Unity” faction was vacant since May 2000, when its head, Andranik Margarian was appointed the Prime Minister of Armenia. -0-
