23.11.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. The leadership of Armenia and the Kurdistan Worker’s Party (PKK) are coordinating their activities. This is the main point of the report of the Turkish intelligence sources, as Turkish Daily News reports today.
The report continues by saying that whereas the PKK used to operate all over the East and Southeast, it began to redirect its efforts solely in the Southeast at the same time as “Armenia intensified its genocide recognition campaign”.
Armenia has prepared a campaign to demand reparations, then land, from Turkey once their efforts to achieve international recognition of the genocide have achieved success. “The intensified efforts of Armenia to claim land from eastern Anatolia coincide with the PKK’s reduced efforts in that same region”, says the report. -0-
