SPIRITUAL LEADERS OF ARMENIA AND AZERBAIJAN TO MEET IN MOSCOW NOVEMBER 29

18.11.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. The Russian Patriarch Alexy the Second will mediate a meeting between spiritual leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan which is scheduled for November 29 in Moscow. Armenian Supreme Catholicos Garegin the Second and Azerbaijiani Sheikh Pasha-zade will meet in the St. Danilov Monastery, the residence of the Patriarch, the Russian news agencies report.
“The aim of the meeting is to find ways to overcome hostilities between the two peoples caused by the war in Karabakh”, Alexy said. –0–
