TURKEY AND EU RELATIONS COULD BE SHAKEN

17.11.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. After the call of the European Parliament upon the necessity on recognition of the Armenian Genocide the Turkey-European Union relations are on “shaky” ground, the Turkish Prime Minister Bulent Ecevit said stated after a meeting of the Turkish government leaders.
Deputy Prime Minister and State Minister for EU Affairs Mesut Y?lmaz dubbed the decision to include reference to the so-called Armenian genocide as another “blunder” by the EU. -0–
