13.11.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. “I was not suggested to take the post of the Minister,” such a statement was made to the Armenian “Iravunk” daily on November 10 by the chairman of the parliamentary commission for budget, monetary and credit issues Vardan Khachatrian. Today, the press office of the Armenian President informed about Vardan Khachatrian’s appointment as the Finance and Economy Minister of Armenia.
In his interview to “Iravunk” Khachatrian also said that he was annoyed by the gossips about his possible appointment to this post. “Minister Barkhoudarian is an experienced person,” Khachatrian said. –0–
