STEVEN SESTANOVICH THINKS THE DIRECT DIALOGUE OF THE PRESIDENTS OF ARMENIA AND AZERBAIJAN IS “VERY VALUABLE”

01.11.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. “I think that the direct dialogue between the Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan, which continues for about 1.5 years, is very valuable”, said today the Counselor of the US Secretary of State for Newly Independent States Steven Sestanovich in reply to the question of Mediamax, after his meeting with President of Armenia Robert Kocharian in Yerevan.
Sestanovich stressed that “there can be nothing more valuable in the process of the Karabakh conflict settlement than the readiness of the leaders of the two countries to discuss the problems face to face”. -0-
