The Russian law enforcers will not initiate legal proceedings regarding the DDoS attacks on LiveJournal hosting in March and April 2011, Gazeta.ru reported citing a source in the Interior Ministry.
Investigators said that it’s impossible to identify the hackers because of the large number of users, who exercised the attacks. It is reported that hackers were from Russia, Asia, Africa and South America while the number of connections to LiveJournal exceeded 100 thousand.
