25.10.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. According to Central Bank estimate, the real economy growth in Armenia in September 2000 has made up 2.8 % as compared with the 3.1 % index, fixed in the period of January-August 2000.
As was reported to Mediamax in the Central Bank of Armenia, the continuous drought was the main factor to cause the decrease of economy growth rates.
The National Statistics Service of Armenia estimates the inflation in September 2000 as 0.3 %. As compared with the same period in 1999 the inflation level has not changed. The consumer price index for the period of January-September has made up 97.2 %.
Average daily budget revenue has made up 784.6 million drams. During the preceding two weeks average daily budget revenue made up 495 million drams. For the same period in 1999 average daily revenue to the budget made up 1.2 billion drams. -0-
