COMPLEX PROGRAM ON COMBAT WITH POVERTY WILL BE READY BY END OF 2000

25.10.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. By the end of 2000 the Armenian government will work out a complex program on combat with poverty, the deputy Economy and Finance Minister of Armenia Gagik Arzoumanian stated in an interview to Mediamax.
He stressed that an interim version of the program is worked out by the government and will be approved in late November.
According to the Deputy Minister the main guarantee of implementation of the program is the provision of a stable economic growth that in its turn foresees reforms in investment policy.
Moreover, a successful implementation of the program would depend on implementation of the governmental programs on combat against poverty, corruption and programs covering the social sphere. –0–
