23.10.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. Perspectives of the Armenian-Russian joint energy enterprise, the agreement of the establishment of which was reached during Armenian president’s visit to Russia, were discussed today at the meeting of Robert Kocharian and the minister of nuclear energy of Russia Yevgeni Adamov.
As was reported to Mediamax in the press office of the president of Armenia, Robert Kocharian and Yevgeni Adamov agreed upon that the regular session of the Armenian-Russian inter-governmental economic commission will be held in December 2000. Y. Adamov chairs this commission from the Russian side.
Yevgeni Adamov arrived in Yerevan on October 22 to take part in today’s 4th session of the CIS economic inter-state committee on using the atomic energy for peaceful purposes.
As the minister of energy of Armenia Karen Galustian had stated earlier, the Armenian-Russian joint energy enterprise will be established on the base of Hrazdan State Regional Power Station. –0–
