ARMENIAN PRESIDENT WILL BE BACK IN YEREVAN ON SATURDAY

19.10.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. On October 21 the Armenian President Robert Kocharian will be back from one of European states which he visits from October 17 for undergoing a medical check up. Mediamax was informed about it from a source in the presidential staff.
The source refused to confirm or reject the information saying that Kocharian is in France.
Meanwhile the Armenian mass media continues forwarding versions of the unexpected departure of the President. “Haykakan Jamanak” Armenian daily writes citing the national diagnostic center that the President Kocharian has underwent the medical check-up in the center yet three months ago. “Does it mean that the health state of the President is really not good?” the daily questions. –0–
