THE TRIAL OF THE CASE OF THE TERRORIST ACT AGAINST RNK PRESIDENT IS POSTPONED FOR 10 DAYS

12.10.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. A 10-day break was announced today in Stepanakert at the court session of the trial of the assassination attempt on RNK president Arkady Ghukasian.
As the correspondent of MEDIAMAX reports, the decision was taken by the court on the request of Levon Mirzoyan’s lawyer – Anzhella Hakopian, who has arrived today from Yerevan to Stepanakert. The lawyer asked to give her 2 weeks to get acquainted with the case materials, however the court limited the time to 10 days.
The trial of the case of the March 22 terrorist act against RNK president Arkady Ghukasian began on September 18 in Stepanakert. The main accused of the case is RNK ex defense minister, Lieutenant-General Samvel Babayan. -0-
