CHATBORN & PARK COMPANY WILL PROTECT INTERESTS OF ARMENIAN GOVERNMENT DURING PRIVATIZATION OF POWER DISTRIBUTIVE NETWORKS

11.10.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. The US Chatborn & Park company is selected as the legal advisor to the Armenian Government during the privatization of four power distributive networks of the state.
MEDIAMAX was informed from the press office of the Armenian Energy Ministry that the preparation for the privatization, elaboration of tender documents (the contract, terms of tender, license for activity, agreement between supplying and distributing companies etc.) are the main tasks of the legal advisor to the Armenian government.
After the privatization Chatborn & Park will be a juridical observer and will control the process of execution of the obligations by a winner of the tender.
There are four companies which lay claims to be an owner of the Armenian power distributive networks: the US AES Silk Road, Swish-Swedish ABB, Spanish Union Fenosa and French Electricite de France. -0-
