ARMENIAN FOREIGN MINISTER CARRIED ON NEGOTIATIONS WITH THE PERMANENT STATE SECRETARY OF THE BRITISH FOREIGN MINISTRY

06.10.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. Armenian Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanian received today the permanent state secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Great Britain, Sir John Carey, was reported to MEDIAMAX in the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Armenia.
During the meeting bilateral relations as well as questions on regional developments were discussed.
Sir Carey expressed satisfaction with the present level of relations between the two countries and noted that Great Britain is determined on broadening and developing the cooperation with Armenia in various fields. The interlocutors stressed the mutually beneficial perspectives of cooperation between Armenia and Great Britain in the political, trade and cultural fields. The importance of the further development of cooperation of these countries within the framework of international organizations was also noted. -0-
