THE MINISTRY OF NATIONAL SECURITY OF ARMENIA DECLARED TODAY THAT THERE ARE ONLY 2 AND NOT 900 AZERI WAR CAPTIVES IN ARMENIA

05.10.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. The Ministry of National Security of Armenia had to declare once again that there are only two Azeris in Armenia, says the statement of the Ministry of National Security of Armenia, which was forwarded to MEDIAMAX.
The Ministry reports that one of them is a war captive and the second – “another ‘terrorist’ who offered his services”. The minister of national security of Azerbaijan Mr., Abbasov knows this fact for certain, “but he still continues to provokingly mislead the public, asserting that there are more than 900 Azeri war captives in Armenia”, says the statement.
Armenian special services stress that Armenian authorities have always offered cooperation in war captives questions to the corresponding bodies of Azerbaijan, but all the appeals of the Armenian side remain unconsidered. -0-
