PRESIDENT OF ARMENIA MET WITH THE CHIEF OF HEADQUARTERS OF RUSSIAN ARMED FORCES

26.09.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. Today in the morning the President of Armenia Robert Kocharian met in Moscow with the chief of headquarters of RF Armed Forces Anatoly Kvashnin, reports the special correspondent of MEDIAMAX from Moscow.
The importance of the 102nd Russian military base, stationed in Armenia, as well as the idea to form quick reaction forces of member-states of CIS Collective Security Agreement was specially noted at the meeting.
Today the President of Armenia is to meet with Russian president Vladimir Putin. -0-
