THE VISIT OF THE CATHOLICOS OF ALL ARMENIANS GAREGIN II TO RNK HAS STARTED

26.09.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. The Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II left for the Republic of Nagorno Karabakh on September 25 for a week-long visit, reported the correspondent of MEDIAMAX from RNK.
On September 25 Catholicos Garegin II met with the president of the republic Arkady Ghukasian.
Within the framework of his visit the head of the Armenian Apostolic Church
will be present at “Saint Shushanik” performance in Stepanakert State Drama Theatre after Vahram Papazian. Today Garegin II will have meetings with the leadership and members of the National Assembly of RNK, after which the Catholicos will leave for RNK Martuni region to visit Amaras monastery, built in 4th century. He will also meet with Martuni people.-0-
