THE ARMENIAN FOREIGN MINISTRY SPOKESMAN IN REPLY TO THE FOREIGN MINISTER OF TURKEY: “ARMENIA IS A MORE SUCCEEDED STATE THAN MANY COUNTRIES OF THE REGION

Armenia is a more succeeded and democratic state than many countries of the region”, stated in the exclusive interview to MEDIAMAX the Armenian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ara Papian, commenting on the statement of the Turkish Foreign Minister in the interview to “Milliyet” paper.
“Armenia has failed to behave like a state. The country’s economy is disastrous. The Armenian administration and the Armenians abroad are trying to use their hostility towards Turkey as a means to establish unity”, had stated Cem.
“As regards the word “hostility” which Minister Cem used, I’d like to remind once again that it is Turkey that realizes Armenia’s blockade, it is Turkey that occupies an open partial position in the Karabakh issue and it is Turkey that systematically rejects the proposals of the Armenian side to start a civilized dialogue. Thus, Cem has no grounds to speak of hostility, which Armenia supposedly feels toward Turkey”, said Ara Papian to MEDIAMAX. -0-
