THE TRIAL OF THE BROTHER OF RNK EX DEFENSE MINISTER WILL START IN NEAR FUTURE IN KARABAKH

22.09.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. The preliminary investigation on the criminal case regarding the ex mayor of RNK capital, Karen Babayan – the brother of the ex defense minister of Nagorno Karabakh, Samvel Babayan, is over.
As was reported to MEDIAMAX in the press service of the General Prosecutor’s office of RNK, Karen Babayan is charged with abuse of his official post, official forgery, evading from taxes and illegal weapon keeping.
The criminal case of 3 volumes has been passed to court. It is expected that the court will decide in near future upon the date to start the trial. -0-
