NO VIOLATIONS FOUND DURING THE CHECK-OVER OF THE RUSSIAN MILITARY BASE IN ARMENIA

08.09.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. A group of foreign military inspectors, 7 Turkish and 2 German, realized on September 5-7 the inspection of the 128 motor-shooting regiment of the 102nd Russian military base stationed in Gyumri. No violations of the Agreement of armed forces restriction in Europe were found.
As was reported to MEDIAMAX in the Information Department of the Defense Ministry of Armenia, the foreign military inspected the number of the Russian battle tanks and armored machines in Armenia to see if it corresponds to the one specified by the Russian Federation in the Agreement. -0-
