ARMENIAN AMBASSADOR TO TEHRAN THANKED IRANIAN AUTHORITIES FOR THEIR COLLABORATION IN RECONSTRUCTING ANCIENT ARMENIAN CHURCHES

07.09.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. Armenian Ambassador to Tehran Gegham Gharibjanian in his meeting with Iran’s Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Ayatollah Mohajerani thanked him for his collaboration in reconstructing ancient Armenian churches in Iran.
As IRNA reports, Gegham Gharibjanian called for holding Armenian cultural week in Tehran. “We hope Iran will participate in the ceremony of celebration the 1700th year of conversion of the Armenian people to Christianity to be held in Armenia in 2001”, – the Armenian diplomat said. –0–
