TRIAL OF RNK EX DEFENSE MINISTER WILL START ON SEPTEMBER 18 IN STEPANAKERT

02.09.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. The trial of the criminal case of terrorist act against RNK president Arkadi Ghukasian, committed on March 22, 2000, will start on September 18 in Stepanakert. The main accused of the case is RNK ex-minister of defense, Samvel Babayan. In total, there are 16 accused in this case.
The Supreme Court of Nagorno Karabakh has rejected the application of Babayan’s lawyer to transfer the legal proceedings to Armenia, was reported to MEDIAMAX in the General Prosecutor’s Office of RNK. -0-
