Earthquake rocks Armenia

A 3.7 magnitude earthquake rocked Armenia at 12.30pm local time. According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center, the epicenter was 39 km northeast of Yerevan and 14 km west of Artashat at a 2-km depth.

Tremors were also felt in Yerevan.

Meanwhile, the Armenian National Survey for Seismic Protection (NSSP) said the earthquake measured 4-5 on Richter scale, with the epicenter 10km west of Garni and 3.5 magnitude.
