Oct 19 quake epicentre located near Armenia-Turkey border

The epicentre of October 19 3.3 magnitude earthquake in Armenia was located 7 km southwest of Masis, near the border with Turkey.

A 4 to 5-point earthquake at a 10 km depth rocked Armenia on October 19, according to Armenian National Survey for Seismic Protection (NSSP). 3 to 4-point tremors were also felt in Yerevan, Artashat as well as villages of Mkchyan, Araksavan, Dimitrov, Masis.

On October 14, a 3.5 magnitude earthquake was reported, measuring 4-5 on Richter scale, with the epicenter 10 km west of Garni.
