SHAMIL BASAYEV CHALLENGED THE PRESIDENT OF RUSSIA TO A DUEL

Today the open letter of one of Chechen fighters leaders Shamil Basayev to the president of Russia Vladimir Putin was published on the “Caucasus-Center” site in the Internet. In particular, it reads:
“You are so worried about the fate of Russia, and you are so enraged to fight against international terrorism that I’ve decided to help you. Though the Chechen law forbids to even a slave with myself, I’m challenging you to a duel. And all our commanders challenge your Supreme generals. You are to choose the weapon. You’d better agree, this will be useful and economic for both our nations, and for all the mankind as well.”-0-
