THE COMPETITION FOR RESTORATION OF RURAL SETTLEMENTS IS STILL IN PROGRESS IN RNK

18.08.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. The government of the Republic of Nagorno Karabakh has prolonged the deadline of the contest for restoration and improvement of rural settlements of the republic, announced last October, till December 1, 2000.
RNK Premier Anushavan Danielian signed the order to allot another 30 million drams from the state budget for the rural communities to purchase all the necessary building materials and fuel, was reported to MEDIAMAX in the press service of the government of RNK.
22 prizes of 230 million drams in total are planned for the winners of the contest, which is being realized in three stages. Village roads are also being improved together with the restoration and construction of dwelling houses, schools, medical service points and cultural objects. In total 37 kilometers of roads are paved in the republic at present.
