The relations between Armenia and Iran are developing rather actively, acquiring in time the character of close, constructive partnership, stated the Ambassador of Armenia to Kazakhstan, Edward Khurshudian in the interview to “Continent” magazine. The Armenian diplomat noted that at present the partnership of Armenia and Iran involves new fields of cooperation. “In the political sphere, our viewpoints in the conceptual questions of the majority of regional perspectives often coincide. Common positions are also notable in a number of global concepts”, said Khurshudian.
According to the diplomat, today the cooperation of Armenia and Iran in the sphere of economics shifts to a qualitatively new level and includes perspective realization of transport and energy projects.
“The realization of these projects, as we hope, will let us join with Central-Asian region as well, including friendly Kazakhstan, thus giving a possibility to sharply intensify the commodity circulation between out countries”, stressed Edward Khurshudian. -0-
