The new major release of Mozilla’s web browser, Firefox 8, officially launches November 8. However, as usual, it’s available for download on Mozilla’s servers a bit early so it can be installed anytime, Mashable reports.
The new release comes only one and a half month after Firefox 7. This is in line with Mozilla’s new rapid release strategy, under which we can expect a major new release of Firefox every 6 weeks.
Besides the usual stability and performance fixes, Firefox 8 brings support for Twitter in the search bar, some additional tab and improved add-on management and security.
