EX-PRESIDENT SULEYMAN DEMIREL ESTABLISHES THE FOUNDATION OF “TURKISH-EUROPEAN UNION”

19.07.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. Ex-president of Turkey Suleyman Demirel said he would establish the “Turkey-European Union” Foundation with the leading politicians and the former Prime Ministers in Europe.
Turkiye newspaper reports that the Foundation will support the process of Turkey’s full membership in the European Union. The first meeting of this foundation will be held in Brussels in September, 2000. -0-
