CSTO has potential to address Karabakh crisis development – Sec. Gen.

The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) won’t get involved in Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement, as it is the responsibility of relevant international mechanisms to demonstrate oriented activity aimed at achieving conflict resolution, according to CSTO Secretary General.

“As a full-fledged member of CSTO, Armenia will receive appropriate assistance when necessary,” Nikolai Bordyuzha told Yerevan-Moscow-Astana-Kyiv-Chisinau space bridge.

He further noted that “CSTO has both political and peacekeeping potential to respond to crisis development of Karabakh conflict.”

“Everything depends on specific assessment of the situation,” he said.
