Armenia won’t experience any inflation-related problems, when comparing last year’s average index for January-December (7,7%) with that of the same period of 2010, according to Armenian National Congress (ANC) opposition bloc member and former Prime Minister of Armenia.
According to Hrant Bagratyan forecasts, inflation-related problems won’t affect the global economy, either, if drastic climatic changes don’t befall the world.
He further noted that Armenian authorities will manage to fulfill budget-stipulated inflation rate, with no salary increase expected.
“This implies 3-5% drop in standard of living,” he said.
The state budget envisages 4% (±1,5%) inflation index in Armenia for 2012.
