Apple’s 15-inch MacBook Air reportedly due in April

Apple is reportedly planning to introduce a 15-inch MacBook Air in April.

This is not the first time such rumors are heard, but now a British blog claims to have gotten confirmation from major MacBook accessory maker, Fudzilla says.

The oversized Air is said to feature ports on both sides and like its smaller siblings it will not feature an optical drive. In addition, Apple apparently dropped the Ethernet port, too. It is hard to say what a 15-inch Air would do to MacBook Pro sales. There are probably quite a few consumers that will go for the thin and stylish Air rather than the Pro, but it is not the end of the road for MacBook Pros, at least not yet, according to Fudzilla.
