Russian company Ascon is shutting down its CAD cloud service which enabled customers to create work places. However, sale of offline versions will continue and even grow, Webplaneta reported.
The demo version of the cloud service was launched in 2010 while the commercial one kicked off in March 2011. Although the service attracted over 1500 customers, Ascon owners complained about lack of monetization.
